Loyola
University Medical Center is a private, independent, Catholic, academic health-care
institution. The Medical Center is located immediately west of Chicago in Maywood, Ill.,
on a 70-acre campus. The Medical Center has been a health-care resource for the Midwest for more than 25 years, providing skilled, compassionate care to its patients; educating future physicians, nurses and allied health-care professionals; and conducting ground-breaking research in areas such as cancer treatment, organ transplantation, heart disease and neurological diseases.
