About Loyola University Medical Center
Loyola University Medical Center is a private, independent, Catholic, academic health-care institution. The Medical Center is located immediately west of Chicago in Maywood, Ill., on a 70-acre campus.

The Medical Center has been a health-care resource for the Midwest for more than 25 years, providing skilled, compassionate care to its patients; educating future physicians, nurses and allied health-care professionals; and conducting ground-breaking research in areas such as cancer treatment, organ transplantation, heart disease and neurological diseases. Our physicians serve not only the Chicago metropolitan area, but also patients and doctors from across the nation and foreign countries.

The Medical Center campus includes Foster G. McGaw Hospital, the Ronald McDonald Children's Hospital, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, the Dr. John P. and Therese E. Mulcahy Outpatient Center and the Stritch School of Medicine. The campus is contiguous to the Edward Hines Jr. Department of Veteran's Affairs Hospital and the state of Illinois' John J. Madden Mental Health Center.
